Beef Advocacy Canada
Beef Advocacy Canada is an educational resource designed to provide information on the Canadian beef industry to anyone interested in learning more. From a mother looking for more information about the food for her family, to a beef producer who wants to become an advocate for the industry, there is something here for everyone.
Canada Beef and the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association have joined forces with other industry partners to develop a comprehensive program that will walk the user through the entire industry, from gate to plate.
For more information and ask any questions you may have please contact us today.
The first course of the program will provide anyone interested with a good understanding of the work and knowledge that is required to bring high quality, safe and delicious Canadian beef to the table.
The second course will qualify users to become a registered beef advocate. This includes media training, regular news updates and access to a network of resources and fellow advocates across the industry.
The goal of this module is to provide a non-intimidating approach to show you how social media can help build awareness and advocacy for the beef industry.
Funding for the development of the Beef Advocacy Canada program has been provided by the Alberta Livestock and Meat Agency (ALMA), the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) and Canada Beef.
